BOSH MAGIC STRIKES AGAIN!

In a game that perfectly captured the magic of postseason baseball at Boshamer Stadium, Owen Hull delivered a walk-off winner to send North Carolina back to Omaha. The Diamond Heels outlasted the Trojans 4-3 in Sunday's Super Regional finale, punching their ticket to the program's 13th College World Series appearance. Are you planning to make the trip to Omaha? Let us know in the comments… Both Andrew and Chris will be in attendance.

Andrew’s Carolina Chapel Hill Super Regional MVPs

Andrew breaks down the Tar Heels who stood out to him most during the Chapel Hill Super Regional.

Andrew’s MVPs highlight the players who made the biggest impact, focusing on moments that matter, not just the stats.

Jason DeCaro: Complete-Game Shutout, 9.0 IP, 2 Hits, 8 Ks, 1 Walk in Game 2 Win

Jason DeCaro

With UNC’s backs against the wall and facing elimination, Jason DeCaro had, undoubtedly, the best performance of his Tar Heel career. The righty was dominant, giving up just two hits and striking out eight. No USC runner even reached second base Saturday afternoon. And DeCaro, after a couple of shaky starts, reminded everyone why he’s the ace of this UNC staff.

Caden Glauber: 7.1 IP, 3 ER, 6 Hits, 11 Ks, 1 Walk in Game 3 Win

Caden Glauber

Scott Forbes has shown trust in Caden Glauber time and time again this season when it comes to high-leverage situations. Game 3 of the super regional was no different, as the freshman made just the third start of his young career. He dazzled, striking out 11 batters, the most in a UNC tournament game in 15 years. Glauber pitched into the 8th inning, and he kept the Tar Heels in the game until the bats were able to get going.

Owen Hull: 9-for-13 (.692), 4 Doubles, 2 RBIs, Walk-Off Double in Game 3

Owen Hull

Owen Hull’s walk-off double in game 3 of the super regional will get all of the attention moving forward, and rightfully so. But the first year Tar Heel was phenomenal all weekend long. He had nine hits on the weekend, hitting .692, and pitching in four doubles in game 3. And after sending the Tar Heels back to Omaha with his hit in the 9th inning on Sunday, he’ll forever be remembered with the likes of Chad Flack, Vance Honeycutt, and Gavin Gallaher as one of the guys responsible for UNC postseason magic.
