Andrew’s Carolina vs Clemson Series MVPs
Lead Analyst Andrew Forrest is revealing his top performers from Carolina’s series against Boston College.
Andrew’s MVPs highlight the players who made the biggest impact, focusing on moments that matter, not just the stats.
Owen Hull: 9-16 (.563), 1 HR, 1 2B, 7 RBIs, 1 walk
Hull continues to be a hit machine for the Tar Heels, hitting over .500 for the weekend. His slow start at the plate at the beginning of the season has become a thing of ancient history. He capped the weekend off with a fantastic rubber match performance, going 5-6 on Sunday with a home run, double, and five RBIs.

Macon Winslow: 5-13 (.385), 3 2Bs, 2 RBIs
Winslow had a solid weekend at the plate, hitting .385 in the series. However, his most impressive performance came from behind the dish, where he caught all 14 innings of Saturday’s marathon. The catcher had a huge play in the 10th inning, throwing out Jarren Purify, who was trying to steal second. And despite some command issues from UNC pitchers, Winslow never let a pitch get away from him.

Caden Glauber: 6.0 IP, 0 ER, 5 hits, 6 Ks, 3 walks, 1 HBP, win in game 2
It doesn’t get more high leverage than pitching in extra innings, but Caden Glauber continued to show why Scott Forbes trusts him so much in critical situations. The freshman came into the game in the 9th inning and held Clemson scoreless until UNC’s bats could get going in the 14th. Even when he got himself into some trouble, Glauber never panicked. One of the biggest moments of the game came in the 10th inning when Glauber somehow got out of a bases-loaded jam with just one out and facing a 3-0 count.
